The milled edge of a coin is where a fake most often gives itself away, so it is the first thing we look at. Every coin is weighed, measured and has its edge checked before it is listed. The Royal Mint has warned publicly about counterfeit sovereigns and Britannias, and we take that seriously.

Every price on this site is worked out live from the metal market. Open any coin and you will see exactly how much of the price is the metal, how much is our premium, and how much is VAT where it applies. We confirm your final price with you before you pay.
